(test).  Later it was changed to B Trp 3/17 Cav and was sent to Ft. Benning to the 11th Air Assault Div. (test), then changed to B Troop 1/9 Cav.  We went to Vietnam on Spec. Order 366 Para.TC 014 dtd 1 Aug 1965. I left Nam on 10 Aug 66.  (I have Orders to all this.)  That makes me from 1963 to 1966.  I was really in the same outfit from '62 to '66, over 48 months.
