1970 Quan Loi Behind this pretty hootch maid was D.J. Pelkey's place of residence on the flight line. In Jan 1970 the troop moved their living quarters from the old wooded area down to the Saber flight line (this was closer for responding to emergency missions and safer during mortar and rocket attacks since there were few trees to spread around the schrapnel). This same hootch also belonged to Jack Honeycutt (D.J.'s roomate), Len Demaray, and about 4-6 others. Photo 200-224
