Quan Loi
DJ Pelkey remembers:
"B Troopers on their way to the Frenchman's house on the base of Quan Loi, to swim in his villa's swimming pool. In 1972 when An Loc was being attacked and under siege, Quan Loi was overun by NVA and a heavy machine gun (.51 Cal. or larger) was placed down inside the same swimming pool that we used to use. Being placed inside the pool, it gave the NVA gun crew protection from attacking gunships."
